Here is a collection of abstract and random images I've been working on for awhile. Some are hand rendered in colored pencil and marker, others are manipulated photographs spun via Photoshop, others still are some combination of the two. Some are plain naked. As I've found it necessary to rebel against every authority telling me what to do since I could stamp my foot and cry no, my artwork reflects the rejection of a rigid plan, it says you can't tell me what to do. Want a pattern--aha, too bad. I've learned design basics within several disciplines, form, balance, texture, color--and somewhere along the way, I began to trust my eye and use the "too many" and "too much" colors. That's when I got happy about making art again. The fire just gets rekindled by different branches each shot out the door, doncha think?
